First Night Home

As I sit here watching Tony sleep my heart swells. He did so good for his first night home. He is for sure living up to the eat, sleep and poop thing. He was an angel last night and only woke us up if there was a reason. So we honestly sleep really well.

I never got to do this part with Logan and it broke my heart. I didn’t get to be a part of the first ride home or first night home. His first bath. With me hospitalized I missed this entire part.

But not this time. This time I got to see Tony’s first time in a car seat and his ride home. I got to be there as he was introduced to his home. His siblings and dogs. Be there for his first sleep at home. I got to wake up next to him and feed him. My heart feels like it may explode from the happiness I feel right now. Getting to experience these first newborn moments. They are amazing.

The boys were thrilled to meet their new brother. Such smiles on their faces. Jacob is still asleep. But Logan is awake and already asked to hold his brother lol. He was showing me how Tony has a head and nose and toes just like he does.

I think everyone is thrilled with the new addition to the family. And so very happy that this little man is now home with us.
