Ok so today we had our first poop in the potty! We have been potty training for months. MONTHS!
Ok so I do know it’s only one time and once doesn’t mean every time moving forward. But I’m still super excited.
He has been super resistant to take this step. Almost no issues with the first step. He may have a few pee accidents a week. But mostly he holds it till we take him and every once in a while he even tells us he needs to go.
But with step number two he has been a no go. Yelling that he didn’t want to. Telling us not to when we have to go. (Not kidding).
I don’t know what happened at school today. But his teacher notes in the school app said he did it and how proud of him his teacher was.
And when I asked him the did it he very proudly told me “I poop in Ms Kay’s potty!”
I know potty training can be two steps forward and one step back. I do. But I’m also taking this moment to celebrate!!! (He got a sucker as a reward) Woohoooooo!!!!
